CHARLOTTE — The Hornets continue to shed their skin.

The team announced today it has waived three players: shooting guard Seth Curry, second-round rookie KJ Simpson, and two-way guard Damion Baugh. The decision comes just 24 hours after Charlotte executed a blockbuster series of trades.

Curry, the most high-profile of the three, was brought in as a veteran shooter to help stabilize a young locker room. But with the team pivoting hard toward a youth movement, his time in Buzz City ends quietly.

The Hornets now have open roster spots ahead of Summer League, where newly acquired Scottie Pippen Jr. and incoming rookies are expected to lead the charge.
